I am a Qualified integrated therapist offering training and counselling that provides a safe place to talk and help clients understand what is happening to them and how they can put things in place to empower themselves.

Therapy can help to regain balance in one’s life and develop a plan to prevent the imbalance from being a problem again.

I work with a diverse clientele specialising in children and young people who have experienced trauma and/or insecure attachments, utilizing talking therapies to provide space for them to explore and talk through issues that may be of concern. This varies from coping with the day to day ups and downs, to extra support that may be needed for clients experiencing feelings of anxiety, anger,  abandonment, rejection or loneliness, to name but a few.

Sleep may feel disrupted, simple chores feel impossible and everything may just feel overwhelming.

As a school counsellor, I used sessions to provide support to children and young people who had a sustained need for more intense work.

I tailor sessions per each client's needs, in an age-appropriate way. For younger clients, my therapeutic approach encourages them to express themselves in non-verbal ways, for example through artwork or play.

I facilitate group counselling working on issues such as friendship, self-esteem, concentration, confidence and bullying. This helps clients understand their role, and allows me to identify those who need more in-depth support.

I work in a client-centred way following the client's needs and agenda. Focusing on the best possible outcome for each individual client.

Sessions are agreed with the client with regular reviews and feedback.

Offering a variety of integrated therapeutic approaches including  Psychodynamic, Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Person-Centred therapy, Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Everyday Mindfulness.
